Few companies in Hong Kong have as much experience in the luxury product market as Omtis Limited, a family owned business renowned for the distribution of luxury goods across Asia.

Its roots trace back to Shanghai in 1919, when the Company’s founding father, Mateo Beraha boarded a ship in Marseilles and headed east. He was soon followed by nephews Dario and Albert and together they built a trading company that in 1954 became the Omtis group.

In true entrepreneurial spirit, Omtis developed and invested in businesses as diverse as one of the first cinemas in Shanghai, a semi-industrial operation carving semi-precious stones and up-scale retail jewelry outlets. In 1932, the Company became the sole distributor in China of Omega and Tissot and quickly earned its reputation as the leading distributer of Swiss luxury watches in North Asia.

In 1949, the business was transferred to Hong Kong, with its Headquarters now located in Admiralty Centre, at the heart of Hong Kong's central district. Established over nearly a century, Omtis group is now a diversified and dynamic company with divisions in Property and Business Services, Financial Investments and Fine Wine.
